As the crowning piece in its salesman training packages for the new range of models in articulated trucks, mid-size wheel loaders and hydraulic excavators, Caterpillar had B·U·T develop three virtual product tours of the new machines.
Based on the presentations that were made for the launch event and existing brochures, B·U·T handled the copywriting for the product tours on the excavators and the wheel loaders.
By clicking the hotspots on a photo or 3D model of the machine, the user takes a tour of all the machine’s features. Video testimonials of users complement the technical and sales arguments included in the tour. The virtual product tours were developed in 12 languages in online and offline versions.
